Who are we?

As Americans, do we know who we are? Do we accept all that we are?

Do we expect the rest of the country to be just like all the people we know?

It’s shocking to meet people who are not like us. It’s also inconceivable to some to see everyone we meet as our fellow humans. We often see differences more than similarities. Why?

Could we look different, believe in different things, and still appreciate one another?
